AVALANCHE
SKILLS TRAINING:
Our Avalanche Skills Training Include: - AST1,
AST2
Through these series of courses you will develop the necessary
awareness and education for avalanches in BC's
backcountry and build a foundation of skills for practical use as you
access and recreate safely in BC's avalanche terrain.Two Methods for
Instruction: SNOWMOBILE (snowmobiles + helmets are available) & SNOWCAT
(use your own skis or snowboard)
This course is the only Worksafe BC recognized
snowmobile program out there. Taught by our certified
instructors these courses are designed to give you
the skills to operate your snowmobile safely and
effectively.
Our one day course is for anyone who uses a snowmobile,
whether it be for work or play anyone can benefit
from being a safer operator.
Our two day course (industrial) is for those who
need a snowmobile for work, it is Workers Compensation
Board (WCB) approved and takes your skills one step
further.
As an added bonus receive a 10% discount when insuring
your snowmobile with Capri Insurance just by taking
the safe operator course.

that not only trains our clients on snowmobiles/ATVs
and take them on tours, now we can train locals, guides,
outdoor enthusiasts and the general public in first
aid, risk management, AST programs, and snowmobile
programs.
Our instructors are trained and work in the
outdoors, paramedics, patrollers, guides who can offer
you more than just text book information, they offer
real life scenarios.
The course selection is large-
from recertifying your old CPR to an 80+ hour Wilderness
First Responder. Our programs are with the Canadian
Red Cross and Sirius Wilderness Medicine. We offer
scheduled courses in Whistler or group programs anywhere
in BC.
